Special Education Complex Gilgit Distributes Sweaters and Teaching Materials to Students
Gilgit (Press Release): A prestigious ceremony was held at the Special Education Complex Gilgit, where students were provided with winter sweaters, books, and uniforms.
The event’s chief guests, Secretary Higher, Technical, and Special Education Department Gilgit-Baltistan Mr. Fareed Ahmed and Director Special Education Professor Owais Ahmed, personally distributed sweaters among the children and appreciated the efforts made for their welfare.
This initiative by the Department of Special Education Gilgit-Baltistan is a positive step towards ensuring that students at the Special Education Complex Gilgit continue their studies comfortably during the cold season with better facilities.
Previously, sign language books were provided to hearing-impaired students, and teaching materials, special sports equipment, and white canes were distributed to visually impaired students. In addition, all students of the Special Education Complex Gilgit have been provided with uniforms to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Addressing the ceremony, the Secretary Higher Technical and Special Education praised the teachers and staff for their dedication and emphasized that the department is committed to providing quality educational facilities for special children. He also announced that in the coming days, Braille books will be provided to visually impaired students to further enhance their learning opportunities.
Parents and teachers thanked the Special Education Complex and the Department of Special Education for this initiative, calling it an encouraging and commendable step for the welfare of special children.
