Massive anti-government protests have once again erupted in Israel as citizens took to the streets of Tel Aviv to demand the release of hostages and an end to the ongoing Gaza war.
Thousands of protesters gathered at “Hostages Square” in central Tel Aviv, chanting slogans against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government. Demonstrators held placards calling for the immediate release of hostages and the cessation of the Gaza conflict, which has entered its second year without resolution.

The protesters criticized the Israeli government for its failure to secure the release of captives and for not taking concrete steps toward ending the war. Many accused Netanyahu’s administration of prolonging the conflict for political survival.
Participants called on the government to act swiftly for peace and prioritize the safe return of hostages through negotiations. Families of the captives also joined the demonstration, urging Israeli authorities to put human lives before politics.
Public discontent in Israel has grown amid increasing pressure from both domestic and international fronts to end the Gaza war. Analysts say the continued protests reflect mounting frustration among Israeli citizens over the government’s handling of the crisis and lack of progress toward peace.
