Chilas: A tragic incident occurred at Huder area of Chilas where a MI-17 helicopter of the Pakistan Army crashed due to a technical fault during a routine flight.
According to initial reports, the helicopter was on a regular mission when it suddenly faced a technical malfunction, leading to the crash. Rescue teams of the Pakistan Army immediately rushed to the site and launched relief and recovery operations.
Unfortunately all five personnel on board including two pilots, embraced martyrdom in the accident.
Rescue and Investigation
Soon after the crash, rescue teams secured the area and began emergency operations. The Pakistan Army has confirmed that an investigation will be carried out to determine the exact cause of the technical failure.
