Authorities stated that Rahman served as both a trainer and operational commander for the Majid Brigade, a faction operating under Fitna al-Hindustan. His role reportedly included planning and executing cross-border militant activities.

Security officials highlighted that Fitna al-Hindustan had carried out attacks aimed at undermining Pakistan’s security and development. The group has previously targeted China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, security installations, and innocent civilians.
