The District-Level Independence Volleyball Tournament organized by the Sports Committee Muhammadabad concluded today in a spectacular fashion, celebrating both sportsmanship and Pakistan’s Independence Day spirit.
The thrilling final match took place between Ashkhandas Jagir Volleyball Club and Muhammadabad Super Stars, where both teams showcased outstanding performance and drew loud cheers from the crowd.
After an exciting contest, Ashkhandas Jagir Club secured a remarkable victory, defeating Muhammadabad Super Stars by three sets to nil (3–0), and lifted the tournament trophy.
The chief guest, Chairman Mushtaq Ahmed Karimi (candidate for Constituency No. 3), distributed prizes among the players and congratulated both teams for their commendable performances.
As part of the prize distribution, the winning team received Rs. 30,000 in cash, while the runner-up team was awarded Rs. 10,000. Additionally, Rs. 100,000 was announced for the tournament’s organizing committee in recognition of their efforts.

an Mushtaq Ahmed Karimi emphasized the importance of sports in youth development, stating:
“Sports promote discipline, unity, and positive thinking among the youth. Such events play a vital role in creating a healthy and active society.”
Participants and spectators appreciated the efforts of the Sports Committee Muhammadabad for organizing a successful and well-managed tournament. They also expressed hope that such sporting events would continue in the future to encourage local talent and strengthen community engagement.
